Father and son, Malcolm Curry Sr. and Malcolm Curry Jr. have trained together at Owaza Martial Arts for years, coming up through the ranks of Owaza Ryu Ju Jitsu side by side under Hanshi Jim Rivera. Both are black belt instructors and familiar faces to students of every level.

Malcolm Jr. holds the rank of Shodan. He helps teach classes and serves as one of the dojo's senior reviewers for member learning content. Off the mat, he's a photographer with a creative eye, and he brings the same attention to detail to his training.

Malcolm Sr. holds the rank of Shodan-ho and is known on the mat for his intuition and calm, practical skill. He reads a situation quickly, makes technique look simple, and helps newer students build a solid foundation.
