Hanshi Billy Diaz was born in January 1969 in Chicago, IL. While living in Chicago, Billy was first introduced to martial arts by his cousins who practiced Kung Fu. At 12 years of age, Hanshi began his 44-year formal martial arts training at the Kobu Tak Karate Dojo.
Hanshi Diaz utilized his training to lessen his asthma symptoms and combat bullying that he was subjected to—a personal experience that now drives his dedication to helping others overcome similar challenges.
After earning his Black Belt, Hanshi Diaz continued his martial arts journey by studying and practicing several different styles and systems. He was dubbed "The Nomad" by his friends and contemporaries for his diverse training background.

Founder & Headmaster
Hanshi Diaz founded his own system, Kenseikan Kempo Karate Jutsu and Jute Jutsu, and is the headmaster of the Mulos Karate Club in Juncos, Puerto Rico.
He serves as the Puerto Rico Representative for Owaza Ryu Martial Arts, extending the reach of traditional combat Ju Jitsu to the Caribbean.
Current Work
Hanshi Diaz is currently employed by the Municipal Parks and Recreation Department in Juncos, Puerto Rico as a karate instructor.
