Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to request deletion of data that JIM RIVERA LLC d/b/a Owaza Martial Arts ("Owaza") holds, including data associated with a connected Facebook or Instagram account.
Disconnecting a social media account
The Owaza Social Media Manager lets a school administrator connect the school's own Facebook Page and linked Instagram account. To remove the data associated with that connection:
- Sign in to the Owaza administrative panel.
- Open Outreach → Social Media → Platform Settings.
- Click Disconnect next to Facebook or Instagram.
Disconnecting immediately removes the stored Meta access token for that account. After disconnecting, Owaza can no longer access the Page or Instagram account, and any imported posts or engagement data can be removed on request (see below).
Requesting deletion of your data
To request deletion of personal information or social media data that Owaza holds, send a request to info@owazamartialarts.com with:
- The email address or account associated with the data.
- A description of the data you want deleted (for example, "all data for my account" or "Facebook Page data imported into the Social Media Manager").
We will verify the request, delete the requested data, and confirm completion. We will respond within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Stored Meta access tokens for the disconnected or specified account.
- Facebook Page posts and engagement data imported into the Social Media Manager, on request.
- Account and personal information, on request, except where we are required to retain certain records to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations.
